Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (AWY SE partners only)
This training is only open to Alliance for Wisconsin Youth Southeast partners.
SAPST is a foundational course of study in primary prevention of substance abuse. This course is for new and seasoned coalition members or coordinators who want to learn how to:
• Improve coalition efforts by developing a comprehensive approach to prevention using SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework
• Sustain prevention efforts by collaborating effectively across sectors to address shared risk factors and improve health and wellbeing of communities in a cohesive way
• Develop a basic primary prevention logic model
This training will be held online on November 16, 17, and 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is open to Alliance for Wisconsin Youth-Southeast Region partners. It will not be recorded so please register only if you are able to attend all three days. The organizers will mail materials to the shipping address you list on the registration form.
