 sts of two hours of self-paced content followed by six hours of instructor
 -led training. The self-paced computer training must be completed at least
  three days prior to the beginning of the course and the one-hour self-pac
 ed post session computer training must be completed as well in order for a
 ttendees to obtain certification. Registration ends March 3 at 12 noon. </
 b>\n\nYouth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents\, family 
 members\, caregivers\, teachers\, school staff\, peers\, neighbors\, healt
 h and human services workers\, and other caring citizens how to help an ad
 olescent (age 12-18) who might be experiencing a mental health challenge o
 r is in crisis. \n\nYouth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed fo
 r adults who regularly interact with young people. The course introduces c
 ommon mental health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent deve
 lopment\, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in
  both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety\, d
 epression\, substance use\, disorders in which psychosis may occur\, disru
 ptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD)\, and eating disorders. \n\nThe
  training will be hosted by YMHFA Certified Instructor Cecilia Eva Tenorio
 \, Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator at Community Advocates Public Po
