 ighbors\, health and human services workers\, and other caring citizens ho
 w to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or
  addictions challenge or is in crisis.\nThe course introduces common menta
 l health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\, a
 nd teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisi
 s and non-crisis situations.\n\nTopics covered include:\n+ Anxiety\n+ Depr
 ession\n+ Substance use\n+ Disorders in which psychosis may occur\n+ Disru
 ptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD)\n+ Eating disorders\n\n<b>Class
