 offers:\n • Common signs and symptoms of mental illness \n• Common signs a
 nd symptoms of substance use \n• How to interact with a person in crisis 
 \nânâ How to connect the person with help \n• Content on trauma\, addiction\
 , and self-care\n\nThe course will teach you how to apply the ALGEE action
  plan: \n• Assess for risk of suicide or harm. \n• Listen nonjudgmentally.
  \n• Give reassurance and information. \n• Encourage appropriate professio
 nal help. \n• Encourage self-help and other support strategies.\n\n<b>Clas
 s size is limited. This workshop is open to Milwaukee County residents and
  those who work with them.</b>\n
