 ic that demands the attention of mental and behavioral health specialists 
 immediately. This training exposes participants to best practices for help
 ing youth and adults recover from trauma and substance abuse. The Public P
 olicy Institute designed this training to include data specific to Wiscons
 in\, local resources\, self-care strategies and strategic planning with ot
 her organizations. \n\nTogether\, participants will:\n\n1. Review statisti
 cs and data to increase our knowledge of the intersectionality of trauma a
 nd substance abuse.\n2. Learn how to address barriers and opportunities fo
 r creating community readiness around substance abuse prevention strategie
 s.\n3. Discuss prevention-based self-care strategies designed to reduce su
 bstance abuse among teens and adults.\n\nThis training is based on evidenc
 e-informed practices and provides a completion certificate. Participants w
 ill be given 48 hours to complete the online feedback form before they rec
 eive their certificates of completion.\n\n<b>++Due to the COVID-19 Public 
 Health Emergency\, this training will be held on Zoom. RSVP at the link be
