Internships and Fellowships
The Community Advocates Public Policy Institute's Internship and Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for talented students to enrich the work of the Institute.
The Institute provides an experiential environment where interns and fellows not only learn about the work of the Institute, but also take an active and substantive role in research, communications, prevention and advocacy projects that support the goals of the Institute.
In addition to normal office work, in most cases each intern and fellow will work on a special project designed and executed in collaboration with the Institute's staff.
Interns will be expected to work in the office at least 20 hours per week. In most cases, internships will be unpaid. The Institute is happy to work with academic institutions to fulfill program requirements.
Fellows will work with the Internship and Fellowship Program Coordinator to design a work plan that complies with the requirements of the sponsoring institution's program. In most cases, fellowships will be unpaid.
Interns and fellows will be considered on a summer term and academic year basis with dates being flexible.
