Matthew Desmond Book Reading: Eviction

More Events

Matthew Desmond will read from his book about evictions in Milwaukee at Boswell Book Company on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 7:00pm. Five years ago, Desmond came to Milwaukee to learn about housing evictions in our city.  Then a graduate student, now a Harvard sociologist and recipient of the 2015 MacArthur "Genius Grant" award, Desmond embedded with Community Advocates staff to learn about housing and eviction in Milwaukee. Learn more by reading our blog post. The event, co-sponsored by Community Advocates, is free and open to the public but we ask you to RSVP with a simple email to ckrueger@communityadvocates.net as a courtesy.
